The Station, Knebworth

we frequented this pub in 07/08

The Lighthouse Inn, Wallasey

Great atmosphere , fabulous food

Carvery was delicious here served Wednesday and sunday apparently , we visited on sunday afternoon full of families young and old alike enjoying sunday lunch together

Sports was being shown on the flat screen tv's but did not interfere with dining area at all

Real ale also available not really my kind of drink but hubby advised was "well kept"

considering the level of trade service was fab and staff were very attentive

would be going back here agian and advise you to too

The Pumphouse, Liverpool

one word ...... Fantastic

The manageress here has done wonders with the place

food was delicious real home made tastes to suit everybody

staff are fab and friendly with the local "scouse" humour

can be very busy in the summer with tourists but your not kept waiting at the bar very long to be served by a smiling scouser

this has the look of a wine bar but the feel of a very premium pub

Greave Dunning, Greasby

I visited this pub having not been in since Early 1990's

wow how things have changed for the "worst",

NO ATMOSHPERE doctors waiting room springs to mind !

An why oh why do they insist on putting the toilets upstairs ??? screams wetherspoons to me

food was average , staff were friendly enough

only bonus was the real ales they had on offer

This place had a mini refurb about 12 months ago and you get the impression the new managers (whom I believe took over from that guy who drinks martini and that small lady who reminded me very much of peggy mitchell) are trying very hard to make this "work"
Customer service was second to none and nothing was "too much trouble" attitude from the staff.

The food was delicious and reasonable priced too , Hand battered fish on offer on a Friday 2 for 7.99 cheaper than a fish and chip shop !!

some reasonable prices on wines too, Real ale available and the IPA (Greeneking) was perfect I beleive its only just got back the cask marque for real ale
(this was lost with the previous managers)
Staff are really friendly and quick to eliminate any trouble brewing (unlike in the past )

such a shame a few of the local residents still don't wasnt to visit here due to the old and very out dated reputation this place had , its changed so much with the new managers however the local residents are still happy to park in the car park for free !!

try this place you will be surprised at how much this has changed !
