i had a baguette in here and although i agree with many of the previous comments, it was actually o.k and quite good value for money. the staff really need a kick up the bum and understand the customers are actually an important part of the making money process.

went for a sandwich and a pint. the beer was o.k and the sandwich was mediocre. �5.95 for a fishfinger sandwich, thats it no chips or anything to go with it. the real downside is the unfriendliness of the staff....and the fact they are always going outside for a quick puff....and i never saw a handwash on reentering the bar. overall a lovely pub in a beautiful village shame there are not better landlords in situ.

went here with a large group from london, for st georges day. we had a set two course lunch which was outstanding. there were 30 odd of us and the food came out so fast. i have never had such a good roast dinner. we will be back.

the food here is rank, but they do wine by the bottle for about �9. just drink don't eat.

really good little pub. we use it most weekends. there is a price competition going on around here which is great for us.
