The Sou Wester Tavern, Glasgow
One and only visit to this place resulted in a night in the infirmary after getting a severe "doing" outside.

Surprised at the low rating. This pub epitomises traditional Glasgow.Products unexceptional, but very friendly.

Good pre-club pub. Not the main stream, a sort of local in the middle of the city.

Best advised to wear a sash and roll one trouser leg up before venturing in here.

Typical Weaterspoons which, in my opinion, means not a proper pub. Pretentious, unwelcoming and soulless.

Probably the safest place on Paisley Road West for a non-Glaswegian. Agree with previous comment, friendly and welcoming.

Really liked this place. Friendly towards a visiting hick from up north.

A "great Celtic pub"? I agree with the Celtic part of that statement. Not advisable if you come from anywhere else in Scotland.

Couldn't believe what I saw when I returned to this pub for the first time after a few years away from the North East. Decor is horrible, customers and barstaff in there not much better. How many more good boozers are going to be taken over and ruined by the student mafia? Agree whole-heartedly with previous comments.

Very old fashioned. Customers generally old and male. Good for a quiet drink, and very cheap.

Excellent old fashioned pub - a proper local. Regulars and staff both very friendly and you get a good pint. Weatherspoons, etc could learn a thing or two!
