Barracuda, Ealing

This place isnt too good i am afraid. The management have no clue how to make and keep a place busy.... no clue! i do agree with previous comments saying that there is no problem with a muilti cultural society but the customers (who mainly are asian) of this club do have an attitude problem and do them selves no favours at all. I think they feel that they can get away with abusing woman as they want, fighting men as they want and generally being c**ts. Stay away and if you have any class, take yoursaelf and other half to a nicer place. there are a few others around!

Much nicer after the refurb but the staff have to be trained to look after the place more as it was just as shabby in the service and the cleanlness. I hope the chavs leave this place alone now and leave it for the rest of us to enjoy, worth visiting as the prices are still low!

The Hook, Line and Sinker, Twickenham

gotta say this (directed at helenof) i decided to take her advice and chose 'the bear' to drink in last night instead of the hook and thier IPA was off and the barman didn't know what a cabernet sauvignon was! i tried, it failed, went to the hook line and had a drink in there, new staff that look smart, and a nice atmosphere, and nearly every table was full so it cant be doing too bad.......

The Bear, Twickenham

Not a bad pub but its way too loungy and the staff dont look old enough to unerstand what beer is, they are probably still drinking ribeana! Had some friends that attended a party there last week and when i asked how it was, they all just smirked and thought the whole place had lost it's touch. there's better pubs on its door step.

I went in this bar ages ago and it used to seem a little boring. Now, theres something that competes with the likes of the bear (with staff that don't have a clue and a bad range of beer...not every one likes Amstel!) A different layout and nice candles makes it feel abit more intimate. I went there there other night with mates and the staff really looked after us. And just to the previous comment.... one of my friends had pride and thought it was fine! will be going back for the live music on fridays i think.
