The Merton Inn, Bootle

this pub has now closed down, i think they should maybe look at turning this into an eating house, bootle is a litttle short on those, perhaps something like a Toby Carvery or Harvester. something along those lines.

The Edinburgh, Liverpool

freindly pub , i drink in here twice a week, i like the mens bar and duke box room, pint has a proper head on it which is what i like to see, the snug is a bit rough around the edges though, one fella swore at me who drinks in there regulary and was quite abusive in his manner so tend to stick with the mens and the duke, close to the best chippy in crosby and as a whole a legenday pub.

The Ship Inn, Haskayne

i went for a meal in this pub in July 2008 of last year, i found it quite homely, we sat outside and gazed at the liverpool leeds canal, it was a glorious sunny day, they had a barbeque, so we had a steak sandwich each with a portion of chips, i didnt half get myself drunk though on fosters, we drove past a pub on the way there called The Kings Arms, can anyone tell me what this this is like?

The Birkey Hotel, Liverpool

i think this is a very homely pub myself, i went in last night and ordered myself 2 pints of fosters and not too overpriced, will definately be considering this as a place to visit more often than not.
