What a belting ale-house this is (my fave pub for last 20years),great crowd of locals,its like groundhog day every time i go in,but its all the better for it.....the ever changing beers are kept to perfection,and the whisky shelf is second to none...could do with a bit of a tidy-up but that might ruin the atmos!!!

what a cracking pub,with the imminent re-furbishment of chapel street this place is ideally located...great beer,great juke-box,really-really nice knowledgable staff and a genuine friendly atmosphere (also there are a few other great pubs in walking-staggering distance!)

The Salford Arms Hotel, Salford
lovely pub,goes a long way to dispel the fuddy-duddy folk singer image of real ale fans,young(ish) crowd,very well kept beer and a friendly knowledgable staff who genuinely like what they do...
