The Union Inn, Denbury

I take it samavery has conections with this pub seeming that she/he hasn't commented on any other pubs. Wasnt slagging the pub off, just purely making an observation that the menu was very similar. My wife and I have been to the yew tree a few times so It just jumped out at me. I certainly didnt slate the food as i never ate at your pub.

We Went in to Look at this pubs menu, then we thought we had seen this before. look at the yew tree inns. Marco pierre white pub. Its ok saying you trained under him but copying his menu is just plain wrong. Willys 100% choc and pierre koffman are just very non-original. If I want to eat marcos il go to marcos. Nice beer though

The Cherub Inn, Dartmouth

We asked the poor cold chap on the ferry where the best pub for lunch and local ale was. He told us to go the Cherub but expect to pay high prices. He wasnt wrong, In both cases. Cracking pub but very expensive. That apart, they had 6 ales on. (all local) doom bar(sharps), Sharps' xmas beer, Dartmoor bitter(weak) and proper job (st austell) and something from teignworthy. Wonderful lunch by the fireplace. The place was heaving so people seem to be sitting ontop of each other. The loo's were 3 flights up a rickety narrow staircase. Well worth hunting out as its a beauty of a pub and a must for ale drinkers (BITE USERS)

The Coombe Cellars Devon, Coombe in Teignhead

big big pub. Great view over the river. My pint or 2 of Doom Bar (sharps) was great. The only ale though, so wouldnt spend a whole session here.

Molloy's, St. Marychurch

popped in while wife was spending my beer money in the shops. Pint of courages was not good at all. Vinegar anyone! so I got a lager (fosters) instead and it was terrible. To top it off, the wife bought some fish from the fishmongers up the road and the bag split. I needed a DECENT beer more than ever now. NOT in this pub though.

Cary Arms , Babbacombe

wow thsi place has changed since the last time we were here. Must be the steepest hill ever to get to a pub. Luckily the wife drove. Cracking local ales. Food was overpriced and wife fish overcooked but that can happen. Id imagine this place is heaving in the summer. Best view of any pub EVER

The Hare and Hounds, Kingskerswell

Better inside than out. From outside it looks like a big chain pub. Inside it was heaving, we stopped and had a carvery. Very Good. Nice pint of Otter. Nice roadside pub
