The Queens Head, Hammersmith

Agree with the last couple of comments, really nice, friendly and welcoming pub this. Food is also very good. A lot more space inside than you'd think from the outside and the garden is lovely. Nice selection of drinks too I think including a gin brewed locally. Will give it a 9, would probably be a 10 if my Heineken had been poured better, minor complaint though.

The Laurie Arms, Hammersmith

Main attraction here is the Thai food, very good, close one between here and Latymers on Hammersmith Road as to where it's better. Pub is nice enough but there are better ones nearby.

The Old Fire Station, Hammersmith

Used to be Hammersmith Fire Station (obviously) so it's great that good use is being made of it now as a pub. I think it's a nice place, always had good service and a popular place after work and later on in the evening. Food is high quality too, pizzas are great.

Bar@1, Hammersmith

Great bar, always friendly staff, atmospheric, cracking place to go after work or into the night.

The Hop Poles, Hammersmith

Agree with Lucy as it used to be awful, but it's a world away from that now, nice place for a drink and the food decent too.

The Hammersmith Ram, Hammersmith

Friendly service, really nice pub, definitely one to visit.

The Old City Arms, Hammersmith

Given you could walk down the river and be in pubs like The Blue Anchor in minutes from here, I can't see why you'd go in The Old City.

The Blue Anchor, Hammersmith

Great little pub, cracking location, personally I can't really fault the place.

Rutland Arms, Hammersmith

Didn't used to like this place that much compared to other nearby riverside pubs but think it is better now. I still prefer The Blue Anchor next door but with its location and decent service it's well worth a visit.

Rutland Arms, Hammersmith

Depressingly dull and lifeless. A pub somewhere like here should be so much more, but somehow just being in it ruins the location. Go to the Blue Anchor just down towards Hammersmith Bridge from it, much better and a proper pub.

The Queens Head, Hammersmith

This pub used to be really nice with a good, proper pub interior. What a shame it's been refurbished. There's nothing particularly wrong with it and I found the service pretty good (reading other reviews maybe I was lucky), and it's in a nice place for a pub, but I can't help feeling sad at another pub ruined by 'modernisation'. It's alright otherwise; It should be a great pub but it isn't. Shame.

The Packhorse and Talbot, Chiswick

Not impressive at all. The service ranged from average to awful, and the atmosphere was non-existant. Not really much else to add to the other comments, except to agree that you should avoid this place if you can help it.

The Salutation, Hammersmith

Great pub this, I went on Sunday afternoon and was very impressed. There was a good atmosphere and the pub had a traditional and homely feel. There's a big screen if you want to watch the football but if you just want a few quiet drinks there is also some seating beyond the screen, so it's easily avoided at the same time. Excellent and friendly service and the food was also good. Good selection of Fuller's ales. Highly recommended.
