The Centre Page, St Pauls

Can't believe this place got decent reviews!! After trekking across the millenium bridge towards St Pauls on our visit to London we came across what seemed an old english pub, a treat for our weary feet & dry mouths.

It was a huge dissapointment! The food was terrible, stale bread, all fried, just disgusting, the beer was flat, most of the staff were polish (no offence you just expected some proper british characters in a pub as old as this), all except the owner, a course del boy type, orange & covered in cheap gold jewellery, made his rounds presumably to make us feel at home? Word of advice, dont scare your guests off John!

I then made the mistake of venturing to the toliets, having made a slightly wrong turn i ended up in the kitchen, were firstly i saw a dead mouse by the door, and then having just eaten from there had the misfortune of seeing for myself the dirty greasey surroundings my lunch had been produced in, making a sharp turn around i made my way into the toilets, an even bigger mistake, but having seen the kitchen i wasn't surprised what i was greeted with in the loos.

My advice? Keep walking, your not that desperate! If you keep going straight to st pauls and take a left there are various establishmnets you'll be glad you visited if only you waited 5 more minutes!!!
