Inn On The Green, Horfield

Large choice of real ale, but no dark beers on last visit which was a bit disappointing. All beers were of the oh-so common light and hoppy variety.Lacking somewhat in atmosphere, but still worth a visit along with the Wellington down the road.

Three Hammers, St Albans

The Jolly Sailor, Burseldon

Used to be my favorite pub until Hall and Woodhouse destroyed it. last went 2 yrs ago and was dismayed by the changes not to mention the extortionate cost of beer and food.Does, however, still have a nice view. How about the brewery build a big wall and ruin that as well.

The Platform Tavern, Southampton

Nice beer. Nice food

The Flowerpots Inn, Cheriton

Excellent beer in a lovely pub. Food not bad either and they allow dogs.Well worth travelling 20 miles for but suggest you open all day.

The Hampshire Bowman, Dundridge

Allows dogs - brilliant.Superb beer straight from the barrel. Absolute gem - 10/10.Well worth travelling for.Notice it's closing soon for alterations - don't dare ruin it. Still haven't got over what Hall & Woodhouse did to the Jolly Sailor at Bursledon 20 odd years ago

The Red Lion, Godalming

Excellent beer especially the Grainstore Winter Nip.But don't like all those books sawn in half and why no dogs allowed?
