Not a bad place. Have stopped by on the way home from work a few times. Pleasant enough, plenty of TV's for sport.

Springfield Park Tavern, Bounds Green
Not a bad place. Been in a few times. It's big has got a pool table and is pretty good for watching sport. It is bit grotty though! Pleasant enough and has welcomed smokers with open arms in the back garden with a TV and patio heaters.

Mixed feelings about this place. Been in a few times since moving into the area. Has a good selection of beers but it is very expensive. Service is not very good. Food is expensive. Typically middle class punters who enjoy sitting on strange looking chairs! This may appeal to some people but it's not me.

The Occasional Half, Palmers Green
Like it in here Been going in on and off for the past three months. Friendly staff and the beer is cheap! Got a pool table too which is a bonus and plenty of TV's to watch the sport on. A locals pub and is welcome to the occasional visitor!

Been living in the area for three months and have been in here a few times. Agree with the comments below. Has had some good entertainment on Saturday nights.
It is a locals pub. Not sure I can recommend it as last weekend I saw a big bloke attack a woman and beat up her boyfriend rather badly. That's not what I want from a pub.

Spouter's Corner, Wood Green
A very large pub which is rather nice inside.
Service on occasions can be a long wait. Beer is very good which is worth the wait. Ideal for a quick pint but it reaches a point where you dread going to the bar because you know it will be sometime!
I do like it though.
