The Prince of Wales, Moseley

the nicest pub in Moseley and pretty much the only place for locals now the Fighting Cocks has been stolen from us. Good beer and friendly staff, although it can be a bit cliquey and you get stared at if you sit in a regulars seat!

Goose At The Fighting Cocks, Moseley

What have you done to my pub??!! Yes, it used to be a dump, yes it stank at times, but the regulars (of which I was one)and staff were friendly and the beer was great and very cheap. Now frequented by pretentious coke heads from outside of Moseley who don't mind paying ridiculous prices for beer. This used to an integral part of the Moseley community but now caters for idiots. One by one all of the decent pubs in Moseley have gone to be replaced by dross like this.

The White Swan, Digbeth

Beautiful Victorian pub in the same style as The Anchor, friendly and a good atmosphere.

The Old Royal, Birmingham

A fantastic real pub, good beer and very good prices. Combine this with football on the t.v (not too loud!), friendly regulars and bar staff and you have a winner. Highly recommended.

The British Oak, Birmingham

When I tried out this pub one of the regulars stole my pint, however the bar staff were very apologetic - this could be a good pub but beware of the locals!

The Victoria Inn, Balsall Heath

A little down at heel but has great character. I once stuck to the floor here - please clean your lino!

Bohemian, Moseley

Described to me as being "like a coffin", this is only a tad less pretentious than the Bulls Head. I agree with anonymous: Go Away and take all of your knobby clientele with you!
