Be warned. If you are into anything other than Spandex Rock you're not made to feel very welcome. I myself like a various mix from AC/DC to some old grunge stuff. I asked for some grunge and was told "I aint playing that crap," not the welcome I expected.

I've read it's up for sale. Let's hope that some money is invested in this old boozer. Landlord got a bit snooty as i'm not a local lad.

Decided to pay this establishment a visit for some tasty food. This was a bad idea. My Spicy chicken wings were burnt and the chips were soggy and "oozed" fat. Never again I tell thee.

Staff that can't be bothered, no real ales, hardly any draught beer. Not a place to visit.

The Old Bulls Head, Lower Gornal
Nice friendly pub apart from some lads in baseball caps smoking weed in the outdoor smoking section.

I must admit that I used to drink in this pub a fair few years ago but stopped when they had no draught beer whatsoever and sold beer in cans. Im not sure what its like now so maybe you want to give it a go but I won't be.

I walked into this wetherspoons establishment and within 10 minutes I had been asked if i had a spare cigarette by a youth dressed in a burberry baseball cap and tracksuit. When i replied "no" i got a funny look and then felt very uneasy as the youth and his friends kept giving me the eye. I couldn't believe it when another 5 minutes later someone else asked if I had a spare cigarette. I decided to leave the public house and on my way out felt very uneasy. Apart from the very intimidating youths in the pub, there also was a large amount of drunk elderly people. I would not recommend this pub to anyone. Wetherspoons you should be ashamed.

Only recently visited this pub and i have to say that it has to be one of the best pubs in the dudley area. Lovely clientele, warm welcome, friendly staff and some beautiful real ales to boot. Never tried the food but it smells great and looks incredibly good value. Spent a few summer evenings in the beer garden. Great Pub.

Ok, so it's been four years since I last visited. It seems that this pub is under different management since my last visit so here goes: There is a strange stale smell when you walk in the pub which is not very appealing. The pub has had a refit but I assume it is the same carpet which is eminating the smell. The moustached gentleman behind the bar seemed as though he couldn't care and was not very polite (bordering on rude). I had a pint of Stella which seemed on it's last legs and whn I requested another the gentleman just huffed. I asked for my money back and I was refused. I walked out and will not return and will be complaining to Martsons.
