read a review in the independent, on less.. was in battle so decided to give it a go... had one of the BEST COD AND CHIPS i have ever tasted.
pub was ok no frills but the food is amazing. if you are anywhere nearby give it a go. wish it was my local.

Quiz night on tue is a real treat... owner definatly trying to get the guardian crowd in, v pricy for drinks, nice food...

Needs a lick of paint or at least a good clean. Go in for the live footie. Then watch the place empty when the final whistle blows. Back room is a real surprise its massive and if any decent band are playing it is superb ( saw eddie and the hotrods there )

good old boozer. no fruit machines etc... late licence fri/sat and proper DJ playing 80's disco/indie and recent foot tapping tunes...
steak sandwich's on week days are a treat...

terrible, terrible, terrible avoid... bar staff were realy rude. the staff decided to flick through the tv channels punter asked if they could put the footie back on and was told this is football, a complete different game we watched as barstaff told the guy if you dont like it go somewhere else...
