think �3.20 for strongbow is a bit extreme....beer garden is good on a sunny day...was in there for a couple of hours yesterday....ok but would not stay all night as a bit poncy

used to work in putney and get train back to vauxhall....worked shifts and popped in there for a quick one when finished....its ok for a quick one...i remember the grey longhaired dolite...remember watching him scav money off the other dolites in...anybody remember the guy in there who looked like the elephant man he also worked in sainsburys

been in once,since it has changed...its a bit poncy now..�3 for a strongbow is a bt steep, prefered it when all the alchies were in there....by the way think most of old clientel migh go to coach and horses now...good pub for them

woked at nelson st for the council for 2 years till may 2004..quite like this pub,still rememeber the pub alsation doing a big crap in middle of floor...should have done it outside would have improved the area..a lot of lardy asses dole scroungers in here i think.....i hate east ham wot a chavvy hole

used to work for newham council and used to pop in here at lunch time on a saturday before getting my train home....always liked this pub as it meant i was leaving stinking scummy cesspit east ham....funnly enough dont work for newham council anymore and never want to go back to east ham..... ever

Seems to be changing hands every other week, hence the ever changing bar staff.
Apart from that it is a good pub, show the football and never too busy. Good for a pint and watching the locals out the window

I think previous post ia a bit harsh, go in there often for a pint and to watch the football. dont really see any nutters, just the cockney chavs from nearby estates.
Also there is a cracking little polish girl working behind the bar.
Its just a proper boozer, not like some poncy ones in Pimlico

I think it has been taken over by a jocko, have a happy hour between 5-7 each night......good but often run out of beer ........bad.
You are able to tell its happy hour as all the local alchies and low life come in.
No sky sports but do show main tv sport.
I like this pub because you cant beat people watching in strange pubs, also never any problem in there, although I did have a nutty old man keep talking to me even when i had back to him and watching football.
check it out its good for a couple of pints.

best looking barmaids in the area, the black barmaid has got a great pair and by jimmeny she does not mind showing them off in her tight tops, can hardly watch the match when she is about.....anyone know if she has a fella
