Have had a Sunday lunch 4or5 times over last couple months- pub now run as part of an independant group of three.Good food,well kept Speckled Hen and Pride with excellent service.Called in today as did the pikeys! please nip this in the bud landlord!

The Black Cock Inn, Caerphilly
Brilliant,visited Oct last year.Great pub food at reasonable prices.Well kept beer- sampled 2 local bitters and a stout.Well worth the visit.

Pub undergoing a major change so let`s all be tolerant - at least you don`t have to wait 10 mins to get served while the old Geordie landlady sat and watched!

Earlier post prompted me to register and comment!This pub is the best kept secret in Staines - friendly prompt service,good food and well kept beer.

The Old Manor Inn, Walton on Thames
Don`t know if this is the norm but wife and friend called in for lunch - �3.50 for packet soup and slice of supermarket bread - not good!
