Agree with As_Johnson. The locals at the bar do form a human shield.
One returning from the toilet rudely squeezed himself passed us obscuring our drinks being ordered without any acknowledgement or manners.
But nice enough pub. We are going to the Reggae evening on July 17th. We will let you know how good it was. Ale was in good nick, Youngs, Special, St Austell and one more (I think Bombardier). Fair bit of parking nearby.

YES! Finally, I can once again drink in my "local".
The pikeys have been sent packing. Chris the new manager wasn't around tonight, but his other half Jane was. She explained how the pub has been cleaned up.
We are thrilled that our pub can be frequented by normal people once again.

As for ale, the Courage Best was in good order (and only 3 quid a pint)
(they clean the pipes regularly) and I begged them to get something more exotic on which they will when the trade (read adults) start filtering back.
I will be pacing the high st with my cheeseboard letting everyone know that we have reclaimed our pub. I couldn't be happier.

The Sovereigns, Woking

Not sure what Snarling Mallard's problem is, but the "snarling" part my be a clue?

This pub is one of the better places to drink in Woking.
5 ales, always well kept.
They even do a "tasting" menu, 3 x 1/3 glasses so you can try ales you've never heard of. Excellent idea. Top tip, this also comes in less than a standard pint, so fill your boots :)
Deuchers has been voted top Ale by Camra on a couple of occasions, and its waiting for you at the Sovereigns. :)
Haven't eaten in there, so can't comment on that element.
Also, its a non offensive pub, i.e., its not overrun with intimidating regulars, its a very open/welcoming pub.
