This pub was no-smoking months before the smoking ban so why would they let people smoke in there now?
WTF has morals and self respect got to do with drinking a few pints in a pub you moron.

It was a shop before (can't remember what the shop was at that time) and it's opposite where Linney's (the sports shop) was.

This has now been refurbed and is called the Wavendon Arms. I think it is owned by the same people as the Swan at Salford.
Nice refurb, friendly bar staff plus they have Edelweiss on tap. Food is of a good standard for the price but the service is extremely slow and they only serve Sunday dinner til about 6/7pm.
Always busy which is always a good sign and no hoodies/chavs/neds in sight!

Yeah will, know what you're saying - that loud QPR fan was in there when I last vistited.
I might pop in there tomorrow as I'm sure he'll be a lot quieter when the football results have come in.
Nice friendly boozer, music can be well iffy though.

I hope you don't live in LB as you don't really seem to like much about it - particularly the pubs!
Not that I disagree with you on some reviews, but assume you're not originally from around town. Leighton has always been ok if you're local, but appears strange to 'outsiders' and not particularly friendly.
