The Stag Inn, Hinton Charterhouse

Very friendly - great pub - popular for meals throughout the week - its my local and I enjoy the chit chat with the locals. I'd prefer a few different beers but the Bass and Butcombe get me by.

The Printer's Devil, Bristol

Fine pub - mostly does lunchtime business - we chanced upon it on a private do one evening but had a couple of rounds and they gave us sausage butties to keep us going for a donation to the charity box.

Fine pub after work - good ales and tables outside. Landlord obviously made a big difference. Works for me

I think it's a great pub but i guess its all about...........................................timing
I often meet up after work about 5. 30 6 and the beer's good, quality old pub, no students at that time, no techno or loud music, just mor and full of the more mature types and they did a good breakfast for the first Lions midweek game last Wed. Works for me.
