The Farmer's Bar, Aylesbury

I used to like this place, but their attitude to children is downright unfriendly.
Not only will they not let you in the only non smoking pub in Aylesbury to drink a pint, but they won't even let you in with your child to buy a beer to take outside to their courtyard.

The Lambert Arms, Aston Rowant

Good real ale is available, though not instantly obvious, as the pumps are at the back of the bar. The beer is of high quality.

Hobgoblin, Aylesbury

Despite being a Wychwood Brewery pub, the last time I've poked my head through the door, they had no real ales available.

The Queens Head, Aylesbury

I thought this pub disappointing. The floor behind the bar was filthy, the beer tasted as though the pipes had not been cleaned, and I got a stroppy look for asking for my pint to be topped up. The beer selection was also disappointing, Flowers - rather bland, Directors and Adnams.
You will be much better off going to the nearby Kings Head.
