O'Neill's, Beckenham

always seems to be an odd bad atmosphere in this place. Can't explain it but it has the air of a pub where it could all kick off at any moment. probably because lots of scary blokes drink in it. good range of beers but is a bit minging. I'd stick with patrick's next door, much more pleasant.

not a bad little place. the actual layout is really nice with the windows overlooking the station opening in the summer. as other people have said, the beer is bloody vile, I think if they had some decent draft beers on people would come back. it puts me off going as although i'll move to other drinks later i like to kick the evening off with a couple of pints and I just can't drink the stuff in here. good service though, staff seem decent but a little overhaul of the decor and changing of the beers would work wonders on this place.

The Slug and Lettuce, Bromley

ok, not bad, but not brilliant. decentish staff, mainly gets busy on a friday night with people leaving work and having a couple

La Rascasse, Beckenham

decent place for a posher night out. nice environment, the newly done out garden is pretty good as well. bar staff can be absolutely woeful at times, and as already mentioned, do check your change. better on a week night as at on a friday/weekend it gets rammed with pricks in pink jumpers ordering pink champagne and giving tenner tips and the like

good old pub this, do enjoy it. quite a cosy feel in the winter, with the nice big chairs and fire. in summer the beer garden is ace so it has both markets covered. can get very smokey on a busy night, but the staff are excellent, always prompt and pleasant (apart from obviously having been told by the boss to routinely ask if you want nuts or crisps after you've got your drinks, I'd ask for em if I wanted them.
good mixed crowd of people. only let downs are the mens bogs which smell a bit, and the beer isn't the best I've ever had.

Patrick's, Beckenham

good wee blokey type pub. do a very decent pint and staff are nearly always efficient and pleasant, just some of em are sometimes a little surly and slow. good place for watching football and the toilets are nearly always very clean.

The Coach and Horses, Beckenham

not too bad a place, little bit scruffy with furniture that is obviously just bought from local house clearences or the like. alright though, gets a little smokey if there's a few people smoking, decent enough beer though
