The Victoria, Highgate

everytime i visit highgate i have a drink here or at the angel inn, this pub is far superior though.

lovely pub, nice decor, good prices and bar snacks.
comfortable sofas and good music, plus if you get the right table theres a hole host of board games to play. pity about the lack of parking. otherwise very good indeed.

The Griffin, Whetstone

Best pub in whetstone by a far mile. customers are nice and not the scummy lager louts you get in the bull and butch most nights.

good facilities with food, very large gardens with play area for children, a covered area for smokers, pub quiz, big screen, sofas. resonable priced but if you are 18 beware as they become a 21s on certain evenings.

still the best pub in whetstone and i agree with the previous poster the barmaid is a cow, she has no social skills, not great bar skills and at closing time is the rudest member of barstaff i have ever encountered on numerous occasions. fire her and it would be alot better. maybe even a 9

La Zeez, North Finchley

scummy pub in the evening with the most awful customers and quality of service. staff are rude and cold with an inability to hold conversation. regular fights outside and a pavement left covered in vomit from the 12 year old clientle who cant have a smirnoff ice without hurling.

AVOID!

The Rising Sun, Mill Hill

small cosy pub that makes you feel rural and out of london, good bitter on tap. car park can get busy on weekends/lunchtimes. food is of a good quality and beats the adam and eve to best pub food in mill hill.

regulars seem friendly and the cosy cubby holes and decoration is nice. more expensive than some but more care is taken with the quality. occasionally plays quite music such as jazz, mostly in the taste of the regulars. becks now on tap and aparently a carvery for sunday lunches.

A fine pub that will calm you down and tack you out of london without leaving the capital.

The Three Hammers, Mill Hill

good parking and garden facilities but as with all pub chains the service isnt marvellous apart from some of the staff who have a sense of humour, the drinks are of poor quality, long bar waits on evening visits and food is poor. no annoying music though.

The Adam and Eve, Mill Hill

Nice pub with a large outdoor garden area for smokers, comfortably busy without ever being packed or empty, good beer and food though the rising sun offers better sandwhichs. barstaff are friendly. parking can get limited on occasions. live music nights are good with both young and old playing. a good atmosphere overall
