nice place if over 50, great ales, great company, look out for pub mascot mark, good if you a regular but welcoming to newcomer, if on a pub crawl go to the bootlaces sure mark will drag you there

ive recently started working in the area and tried it it out service ws slow and slime wouldnt have hurt, the food (scampi) wasnt fantastic, and having people walking past me to the toilets every 5 seconds didnt, over all expensive and ill search a bit further

I havent been for a while, but i find a drink early evening its great and the bar staff very friendly, as a night spot not my cup of tea, gets very packed but with a friendly vibe, and has good secruity which is needed for the locality foods pretty good also

have agree with the other reviews, staff just want you to go away sit by uself anything but strike up a converstion
but very cheap, seems to attract some very strange people, one old guy got up on the table and took his trousers down apparently he does this often, but they still let him in, i dont trust the food so i dont try it
go for cheap drinks, but not to pull or make friends

go here quiet often good for big screen games (even if it is the gooners) spent new year there a few years ago and a nice mix of adults and few kids, can get busy does a lovely full english and a good atmosphere fri and sat nights and you can go back in the morning have a good breakfast

It is a strange place for walthamstow and true the service borderlines on sloppy, but if you want something different to chav heaven, old mans heaven, and pissheads, give it a go
Eccentric is the word for the landlady, but once chatting she is a very nice person

nice atmosphere, good beers, small but cosy, well worth a look, find mark and buy you beer
