I WILL NOT HAVE A BAD WORD SAID ABOUT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I'M PROUD TO LIVE IN THE SAME TOWN AS THIS ESTABLISHMENT. BIT MUCH PERHAPS!!! BUT IF YOU HAVE NEVER VISITED THE CIDER BAR AND LIKE CIDER YOU ARE MISSING OUT. GREAT ATMOSPHERE, FRIENDLY STAFF AND LOCALS, STONKING CIDER. AN INSTITUTION.

NO DOUBT ROGER DOES THE BUSINESS AS A LARGER THAN LIFE LANDLORD. GREAT PUB. I TRIED 3 ALES, ALL IN GOOD NICK. SLIGHT PROBLEM WITH OUR FOOD ORDER BUT HEY, WHAT THE HELL. GOOD WHEN IT ARRIVED. WHAT PUBS SHOULD BE. VISIT!!

The Coombe Cellars Devon, Coombe in Teignhead
What a shame. Beautifully refurbished and great setting. This pub has never had what it takes and even under new management and no longer owned by Brewers Fayre, it still hasn't got it! Waiter argued when our bread and olive oil and balsamic came with the meal instead of before with drinks. Staff seem very young and dopey and food very average. It's so easy to do right - just do it !!
