The Durham Ox, Shrewley

Driving past we noticed that the Durham was under new ownership which can only be a good thing. The bar area was bright and airy and the bar staff friendly and welcoming. One of the new owners introduced herself to us, shes new to the business but was honest and very charming. The children all went out in the back garden to let some steam off so we took advantage and had a relaxing drink on the decking at the front. Menu looked good so we will definately be back for a longer visit.

The Lord Nelson, Brentford

Revisited last week as the Landlord was celebrating 1 year at the Nelson. What a night, packed with a Gospel Choir and great food courtesy of the famous (well famous if you watch the F Word) Mamma Cheri. An evening of great food and entertaiment!

The Tilted Wig, Warwick

Of all the pubs in Warwick - this is my very favourite. Good food, nice to be able to pop out for some tea without being ripped off. Kids welcome early doors, staff always friendly and helpful.

The Lord Nelson, Brentford

What a gem of a place! Lived in Ealing for a long time and had never heard of the Lord Nelson. It was recommended and I visited just before Christmas with the family and was really pleasantly surprised. A Warm welcome, good honest food at very reasonable prices. Have been back a few times and the service, quality and friendliness are all consistant. I wish I was near enough to call it my local. A destination pub without having to travel very far at all!
