The Crown and Greyhound, Dulwich

Went in for the first time in a year or so and was pleased to find it still has a friendly atmosphere - bit of an odd food ordering system, but a great range of meals to suit all budgets and appetites.

The Actress and Bishop, Birmingham

Great night out here, lively pub with live music upstairs a few nights each week.

The Woolpack, London Bridge

Was pleased to see the name restored, and the style of the pub not too trendy. Has smartened up since changing hands, but has managed to retain friendly pub-like atmosphere without becoming too trendy / yuppie like. Food borders on the expensive, but usually tastes good, and service now quite efficient.

The Garrison, London Bridge

Unfortunate conversion of a pub into a restaurant in an area brimming with over priced eateries. The Woolpack across the road provides better value for money - although the garrison does do breakfast which I believe is not bad.

The Old Mother Red Cap, Bradway

Nice friendly local pub, even nice enough to take my Mum n Dad - cheap beer, good for a quiet drink - can be a bit smokey though.
