uber chic pub, good food. On the expensive side but nice.

The Hatton Arms, Hatton

nice garden near the canal. Food is wannabe gastropub type. Better than most but not original or outstanding.

The Falcon, Hatton

whooops ignore previous pub....I thought it was the waterman (they both look pretty much the same on the outside). No idea what this one is like.

The Square and Compass, Worth Matravers

Best pub in the UK.....great beers and cider. The veiw is breath taking. Strange mix of locals, grockles, hikers and hippies. Lovely inside too. Food is basic (i.e pasties) but who cares. Perfect for an evening drink or to quench your thirst after a hard walk.

The Greyhound, Corfe Castle

Mainly a family pub during the summer holidays but attracts the ounger (i.e. under 50) crowd out of season. Lovely views from garden. Food is OK

The Castle Inn, Corfe Castle

Good food, lovely garden. Hard to get a table in the evening at weekends as the inside is tiny but lovely pub.

The Orange Tree, Chadwick End

one of the brown sofa brigade. Posh cars in the car park & food prices to match. Food is good however & outside space is quite nice.

The Case is Altered, Five Ways

no food but great pub lovely location

The Drum and Monkey, Dorridge

been there since take over. lovely big garden. Food was good and lots to choose from on the menu. I am led to believe they have a good selection of beer, they certainly did wines.

The Wilsons Arms, Knowle

toby carvery...as expected. Decor is fine, food is standard for a carvery. There is a small area to drink outside which is on the main road but about the only "green" bit of space to drink in in knowle.

Nick Worral, Knowle

Very unreconstructed (i.e a little shabby) but does have very good real ales. Old man drinking pub.

The Red Lion, Knowle

Not worth going out of your way for but OK for locals. Food is quite cheap but not exciting. Modern decor inside. No garden to speak of.

The Greswolde Arms Hotel, Knowle

Smart wine bar style. Food is quite good & they've recently revamped the menu a bit. Mains about 9 - 14. Lunchtimes and week evenings quite relaxed. Very loud Friday & Saturday.
