Excellent, 'real' pub! one of the last of a dying breed. Great landlord/landlady - friendly, polite, sarcastic and funny! Great sunday dinners! Good for students. Pool table, juke box, quiz night, bingo night! Laid-back and friendly! Good crowd in on a Friday night! 10/10

This is an excellent venue! And the host, Rob, and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly! Very comfortable surroundings and very friendly, laid-back atmosphere.
If you play an instument or sing (or both!), this is a great place to show off your talents on a sunday night! A very warm welcome and a great time is had by all. 10/10!!!

Nice pub - shame about the stroppy owner! Real attitude problem. Don't laugh or talk too loud - he'll bar you!! Get rid of the owner and it would be great...until then, AVOID!!
