Wonderful food [gigantic portions of fabulous grub, all great, but highly recommend the fish cakes]. Legendary landlord. Very atmospheric. Brilliant for a quiet drink.

Great pub. Best night without a doubt is Sunday. Landlord and landlady are wonderful people. Good crowd of locals. Very friendly. Just a bit of a long stumble from the town centre...
