You can have a good night here, no problem. The crowd are friendly and the door staff will look after you. The bands are top notch and there's something for everyone to enjoy during the week.
Now for the bad points! (I hope the people that run this pub read this)
The new bar staff are rubbish and seem more interested in chatting to their mates than serving the customers. Service is also slow.
Also, myself and many others are disgusted that the majority of us have to pay �7 to get in on weekends when many others are let in for free. Everyone should pay regardless of how long they've been visiting The Horn. Yes, you won Music Pub of the Year, but you won't hang on to that title if you continue to take the p*ss with your door policy. Is it any wonder so many people choose O'Neills on a Friday night instead?
Sort it out..please!!!!!

What a lovely pub. Very cosy, friendly and nice crowd too. A little gem of a place highly recommended!

Very cheap drinks...takes ages to get served though! Pub seems split between very young drinkers towards the back of the pub while the front area is popular with old soaks. Food is good.

Used to be a good night out...now just full of impressionable kids looking for a fight. Rude staff...surly bouncers and the obligatory bog troll in the men's.

Bit of a dump popular with older types who want to impress. Also too small and dated. The Tudor, Lloyds and Casa offer much more for a night out.

Great place for an early Friday night meet up with friends. Free entry before 9pm. Trainer wearers be warned...the door staff come round with a torch to check your footwear and give you 30 mins to drink up and leave...which is a pain. Plenty of trendies but not as pretentious as Casa. Great toilets too...very clean!

Casa? Bars like these are ten a penny in any large city. Great place for a bite to eat and mid-week drinks. Come weekends it's packed with posers...buy a drink...sit on a sofa...relax..and then go to Lloyds bar around the corner!

Woeful pub with rude staff, lots of chav types and a reputation for violence. Avoid.

Average pub that attracts a young-ish crowd at weekends. A bit cramped at times. Biggest problem being the pushy toilet attendant in the mens restroom who gets aggressive if you don't tip him a pound!
