Outstanding environment for a properly made cocktail with a fantastic collections of premium spirits. Bar staff are properly trained in mixology, although be prepared for extortionate prices. (�5+ for a number of cocktails)

I wouldn't risk the food, but if you want a few quiet drinks with friends, Barracuda is fine. Nice and cheap with helpful bar staff.

Not a place I go regularly but it's nicely decorated and very good on match days.

Possibly the best pub in Derby, the Brunswick has a fine selection of nice ales and a steady stream of Irish rebel songs on St. Patrick's Day! Can't beat it.

The Frog and Parrot, Sheffield
Pleasant pub with a nice selection of beers and reasonable live music, although a little on the pricey side.

Ordered a Lasagne, served with a salad and Garlic bread. The food took over an hour to arrive, with the excuse that they were having 'computer problems'. It was a thin, fairly boring Lasagne and the salad was undressed and very plain. The Garlic bread was slightly soggy and pretty tasteless. The Coca-Cola served with it was flat and I didn't receive the 1 pint which is advertised for 99 pence, but instead a much smaller glass, as one might expect if having Coke as a mixer with a spirit. For �5 you don't expect gourmet cuisine, but Yates's was nothing more than barely acceptable.

The Standing Order, Derby
Comfortably the best large pub in Derby, The Standing Order is about as good as Wetherspoons pubs get. Top quality service, brilliant interior and a wide selection of decent beers on properly cleaned taps. Highly recommended.
