Word of warning if you're planning any kind of function here- don't. My fiancee & I were guaranteed countless times we'd be given the menus for our proposed post-wedding meal only to be let down time & time again. We're now frantically trying to find an alternative before the big day.

bar area not up to much but try the cajun chicken in the restaurant-best pub grub for miles around.Yes,it really is that good!

nice place to go for a spot of pub grub but if you hang around the bar area for to long,the "You're not from round 'ere" brigade start giving you funny looks.

most people seem to go in there as it has a reputation for being a pub frequented by the 'in' crowd.Has modern surroundings and friendly enough bar staff,however if you're looking for somewhere with a good atmosphere,steer clear.

Not a bad place for a meeting point-friendly staff,pool table,jukebox.Unfortunately in recent times its gone a bit downhill due to lack of punters

Another place which has let down my fiancee & I in terms of planning our post-wedding meal. Landlady very abrupt & evasive; don't these people want your money????!!!
That aside, no atmosphere, unfriendly staff; trying to be something it ain't, ie. good.
