As a woman on a girls night out, I found this place a bit threatening. It seemed to be a bar for off duty bouncers, not to mention the really annoying Scotsman in residence at the end of the bar. Definitely a boozy boys bar if thats your thing

Just don't bother! Dirty and threatening atmosphere! Stay well clear!

This is a lovely pub with a gorgeous garden. Definitely one of the best pubs in the area and beers are well kept according to my beer guzzling husband! Good food too!
Negatives? Well it is a bit clicky and you don't exactly get a warm welcome from the staff who are rather on the brusque side. Definitely worth a visit

Friends of mine have been going on and on about how special this bar is. I thought this is the Medway Towns such great places don't exist here! Well me and my husband made our first visit a couple of weeks ago and now I have to eat my words - it is indeed a great place. Beautifully decorated with gorgeous lighting and refreshingly clean. Very friendly regulars made the entire evening a real pleasure, not to mention the superb staff. Hubby rated his beer top rank!
Since that night I have been back twice. Once with a group of 12 girl friends and we all agreed how safe we felt here and again this afternoon I sat in the beautiful garden with a large glass of wine. Perfect. Highly recommended. Without any doubt the best bar in the area!

The King George V, Brompton
One of the better pubs in the Medway Towns. Great selection of Belgian beers and cask ales. Friendly staff but landlord has a rather condescending attitude that spoilt my visit a little.
