Yates's, Bicester

Now a yates, much better feel than it had. The staff seem ok and the beer was good, I had an extra cold kronenbourg and it was very cold. Food unbelievable prices, for example on a wednesday evening you can have a curry, rice popadums etc for 5.50 and that includes a pint, dont know how they do it. would not want to be in there at closing time at weekends

The Highfeild Social Club, Bicester

Not a pub, has the atmosphere of an airport bar, Why people would want to take their children to a bar or drink in a bar full of small kids escapes me. Its a club so prices are cheap, and serves its purpose for the people who live on the housing estate that the social club is set in.

The Bull Inn, Launton

Very clean pub, good food, a little pricey but very nice. Friendly landlord, beer served very well, newspapers in rack and bar snacks on sunday. Good all round pub, a relief from the pubs in Bicester. Try the butcher opposite, very nice.

The Bure Farm, Bicester

Nice big parasols to sit under, very clean pub, if a little generic. The food is good quality and I would say reassuringly expensive that keeps Bicesters large chav population out. Staff do not generally pay too much attention to who is next as they are normally talking to each other.

The Kings Arms Hotel, Bicester

I went to the kings arms under protest, it had been known as a bit a dump for a long time. It had recently been renovated and was pleasantly clean, the welcome was good and the menu is varied and good value. I can recomend this pub, downside is the gents could be better, but that said they werent awful.
This is a good place for lunch I would say, if you wanted a more formal meal then the Littlebury hotel is more up your street.
