not a fan of this whole part of Chelmsford, steer clear there are far better places to go within a couple of minutes walk.

The Wheatsheaf, Chelmsford

Excellent, large pub for sport, good mix of students and locals. Food is ok for a quick bite.

Baroosh, Chelmsford

Trendy town centre bar. Decent continental lagers like Budvar and Peroni on, but pricey. Nice place to go for a quiet drink during the week and gets fairly lively but not aggro at weekends. Food is decent but expensive.
