The Bell Inn, Wylye

As previously called 10.50 departure, arrival from another platform. Unattended bags, so time for a quick beer. Trains brewery, All Stations calling time.

I really think some of the railery against Trainman has overshot the platform.
Letting off steam is one thing but some of the departures seem to have arrived early.
A busy platform certainlybut not a terminal.

The Plough Inn, Radford

No blasts of steam or shrill whistles from Trainman today?
Is he chuffing away quietly in a siding somewhere?
Or hurtling along like an express, er, train?

The Inn On The Green, Ockley

Wallpapering seems to be the biggest issue here. Wow.
I didn't eat but everyone seemed to be tucking in fairly.
If only all pubs were within adequate distances.

The Bear, Horsham

I can't remember too much about this place as I was very drunk.
But I suppose that's a good thing.

The Blue Ball, Walton On The Hill

I found the seats high, the beer long, the food reasonably priced, edibly so.
The service forthwith and the time becoming.
I shall be returning.

The Sportsman 'Time Well Spent', Mogador

I think Kirkdouglas sums it up best with (his). comments.
Myself I couldn't concur with all that went before but would prefer to eat my cake latterly. That said, I take contrary opinions at face value and after all, that is all one can reasonably ask.
Good job all round I feel.

The Royal Albion, Hastings

Squid was excellent, thoroughly commended.
Steep climb uphill, commanding views.
Excellent squid.

The Tower, Redhill

Some corrections to make.....
I think the pub to which DannyBoy refers is on the other side of the road but it has since been demolished some time ago.
The staff he mentions were at the other pub also.
The beams and foyer area must have been a different pub altogether.....

More information from Trainman!
I have met trainman on several occasions and all I can say is that he is a first rate fellow. When trainman talks we would do well to heed.
He is a beacon of hope in our troubled times, a torch of freedom, indeed, a candle of truth, a beam of inspiration and a furnace of enlightenment.
I think I speak for us all.
