Good food, good beer, good wine selection and the landlady has plenty of advice on which wines are good/bad. Very relaxed place but when the kitchen staff turn on the dishwasher one of the rooms actually vibrates!!

Got food poisoning here about 2 years ago. Never been back. Interesting decor though and reasonable prices.

Went in Friday night for a beer. Bad DJ talking over music in wedding-style disco. Left after 1 pint.

Good, cheap beer. Pleasant atmosphere; yes they do have bar billiards. Haven't tried the grub but menu is cheap.

Good Sunday lunch and popular quiz night. Good selection of beers.

Excellent pub, quiet with excellent beer but an expensive wine range (hence 9 rather than 10). Has now gone totally non-smoking throughout. Beautiful food.

The Wheelhouse, Wollaton
Good drink and there is a good food menu. I went there on a Sunday afternoon and it had all the atmosphere of an airport lounge.
