The Mash Tun, Brighton

what can i say its a student pub.. like all other mash tunns i have been too. beer is not bad but a bit pricey. just watch out for the dirty old men hanging around eyeing up the 18yr old girls in short skirts. lol

The Waggon and Horses, Brighton

this one is not bad.... worth taking a look at. stay off the guinness.. and try a few of the ales. as long as you can wait to be served while its busy..

The Market Inn, Brighton

sorry but the recent refit has made this place look like..... i dont know im lost for words. gone is the freindly little boozer and most of the regulaurs that used to drink in here.. even to find out i am barred from this pub was a amazement.. maybe the real london pub company dont want people in here. another example of a small buisness growing too quick and not caring about 1 thing.... !! there customers!!.

oh.no... not again.... not another of my good boozers gone. please remember, its the manager/licencee and staff who make the pub inviting for the punter. give up now. replace the staff or lose another pub.. this is another f**k up by the owners who seem that they dont care.... guess it must be hard to get staff with personalities these days!!!!!

The Stadium, Hove

another one of those strange pubs. come on you know the ones. run by the locals for the locals. but strangely enough its not a bad place. i was a bit disappionted that they had lost there chief and have stopped serving food for the mean time. but its got good parking facilities and a sports bar. and the staff are friendly enough.its got reasonably priced b eer and ale.and a good selection of pool and bar billards tables. and yes the ex world champion bar billards guy plays in the pub team here. not a bad place to stop for a quick pint, but lots of room for improvement.

The Black Horse, Brighton

another old sytle traditional pub recently taken over and refurbished. but got to admit it now has a bit of character. a small selection of ales include london pride, spitfire and harveys to keep the locals happy. The staff are very friendly and had a nice quiet pint of san miguel fortunately all the scum have been biffed out by the new landlord. so it made a good evening. we were also assured that live music will be starting in the next month. so probably go back next time im in brighton to see how this pub is going.. well worth a look..

What happened to this one. it was a gem. still is good but a change of landlord really changes a pub. still a great place to go, but lost a bit of its appeal to me. but will still go back for a quick one to see how things are going.

i actually like this pub. yeah i agree the urinals are something out of the past. always got a nice welcome here. it is a sort of old people pub. its does give that impression. but its varied. nice place to hide away for the night.

The Jugged Hare, Pimlico

actually not bad....good looking pub..staff understands english (which is a welcoming change). err beer is sort of ok..but it used to be better, has there been a change of landlord?

The Marquis Of Westminster, Victoria

wow...enter this pub at your peril...greeted by total silence (ok a bit far fetched..the juke box was playing) and getting eyed up by what looks like to be the local mafia...scary.... maybe its time to lower the age of the bar maids..70's slappers is a bit too much to handle ....ok may be i am being a bit mean...it does sell beer...even if it is out of date....
