Good friendly boozer, locals were most welcoming, good beer and a nice real fire going on a cold winter night. Will be visiting again on next excursion to Derby.

On first (and last) visit, oaf at the bar (suspected local/regular) obviously thought I was invading 'his' space by attempting to look at the pump clips to see which beer I liked the look of. Attempted to block my way and 'invite' me to ask him to move - grow up. Will not be visiting again - Cold and uninviting, both the pub and the locals. Go to The Alexandra.

The Flowerpot, Derby
Never had a bad night here yet. No problems with the staff or the beer and the live bands have never dissappointed. Any chance you people can open a place like this in Burton? Please!! Only problem is the insistant talkers when the groups are on - I'm begining to suspect they are now going in to do it deliberately, and it's a nightmare getting transport back to dear old Burton on a week night - but thats hardly your fault.
