O'Connors, Chelmsford

i have to admit the best pub i ever frequented was the prince of orange, every friday and saturday night i used to stagger home with a kebab from rams then wring the beer out of me tee shirt when i got home....lol great times!

The Queen's Head, Chelmsford

wonderful selection of ales, 'Brewers Gold' just makes you want a bottomless glass...a pub with some old English charm left despite a refurbishment a few years back, a regulars pub and a nice place to sit and have a quiet drink on your own if you need to, the bar staff are pleasant if a little offish.

O'Connors, Chelmsford

friendly staff with one or 2 good ales on offer, the only problem was the music was way too loud, couldn't hear the person next to me, also a couple of blokes at the bar who obviously loved the sound of their own voices and wanted everyone else to hear them too, ok for a quick pint on the way to moulsham street but thats about it.

The Spyglass and Kettle, Southbourne

My wife and i stayed at this pub for 3 nights, it is small and we had a room on the second floor which is reached by a winding staircase from the bar, great fun to haul the suitecases up...lol
I was very happy to stay there, most of the staff were very friendly and the food was very good, there were a few real ales on offer too, overall a very nice stay.
