The Boars Head, Aust

Oh dear! I used to go here occcasionally, found it very good and so I was surprised at some of the recent reviews. But it's true, this pub has gone downhill! Went at Sunday lunchtime, it wasn't mega busy; but still we had to wait over an hour for food. To be fair, the (freindly) staff did advise us there would be a wait. The food was at best average, the beer (Wychwood) was OK. And they don't answer the phone!
A shame, because this could be, and used to be, such a good pub; but if there aren't some changes it will spiral further down.

White Horse Inn, East Barsham

Went here a few evenings. Friendly and the beer (Adnams Bitter & Broadside) was reasonably well kept. Steak night was good value, but Surf'n'turf disappointing.

Green Man, Rackheath

Busy pub on Wroxham road. Beer was well kept (Wherry) but limited range of real ales. Very good food in restaurant area, and large portions. Friendly staff.

The Gin Trap Inn, Ringstead

Maybe they don't like summer! Visited for lunch in September. Staff were freindly, beer was well kept and the food very good. I'd go again

The White Horse, Chedgrave

Good Pub. It doesn't look too promising from the road, but go inside. It was busy for friday lunch, but enough and friendly staff. Good food, well kept beer; good selection too.

The Nelson Head, Horsey

Excellent Pub. Good and reasonably priced food, freindly staff and the beer was very well kept. Superb pint (or three!) of Wherry. Its off the beaten track, but worth a visit.

Kings Head, Holt

Large, and very busy, pub on the main road. I understand it has recently been taken over. Food was very good, but not cheap. Beer well kept. (I was impredded that the barmaid spotted a slightly cloudy pint and didn't serve it.) Worth a vist.

The Chequers Inn, Bressingham

Understaffed when we went at Saturday lunchtime, so as there were a few parties in we had to wait a little. Food reasonably priced and beer reasonably well kept. An OK pub, but I wouldn't go specially.
