The Rope Walk, Birmingham

Good pub, with 3 real ales on tap. Last time I visited Jennings and Marstons were on tap. Big pub - can be like an aircraft hanger if it is not busy. Friendly landlord. Good selection of snacks, including Tastees.

The Church Inn, Hockley

New landlady has made this into a good pub. Tidy food and a couple of real ales when I was there.
They also sell some good snacks including Tastees - the best snack of all.

The Wellington, Birmingham

Good atmosphere and terrific range of beers. Does not sell hot food which may be a disadvantage for some, but has a great range of snacks including Tastees. Not sure about the cat.

The Red Lion is a top pub. The Wye Valley is kept very well. The Red Lion also had a different guest beer each tine I visit. Spoke to a couple of local residents last time I was there, who were trying to get more local residents involved in local issues, in conjunction with the pub.
Had some Tastees snacks when I was there - much tastier than the Real Crisps which were also on sale.

The Queens Arms, Birmingham

Good pub, very good beers which are sold in a dimpled beer pint glass.
The pub sells Tastees Snacks as well!

The Jewellers Arms, Hockley

The pub has changed hands recently, the pub has improved and has started selling a cask ale since I was last there.
Plus they sell Tastees snacks which must give pork scratchings a run for their money!

The Lord Clifden, Birmingham

The Lord Clifden is a great pub. The only problem is that it keeps running out of Bathams!
The Lord Clifden also sells Tastees, the best snack ever.

The Porterhouse, Covent Garden

Cisk the fantastic lager from Malta used be sold in the Porterhouse, but it always seemed to sell out as it was so popular.I was told that it was difficult to get hold of. I see from the UK press that Cisk has now been launched in this country. It will be great to have it on sale here again.
