Dreadful ... very grumpy staff ... uninspiring beer selection which tasted watered down to me ... Could be great as it is a small atmospheric place but needs to get back to the basics

Great beer and ale selection but the pub needs an bit of an investment in their seating... the most uncomfortable pub sofa lives here!

Still smells of smoke, a bit grubby really. Beer ok but nothing interesting or original... Not a patch on when it was The Clare Tavern.

This is a great pub!! Good beer which is served by friendly staff in an authentic setting.

There could be a guest ales or real ales on the menu
