Great pub, fun people, consistently good food. Current owner, Charlie, has done a wonderful job in re-vamping the back garden which has tables, wonderful view of the local countryside and a little stream with countless ducks swimming up and down. In summer, weekend bbq's are great fun. Front seating offer superb location for cricket watchers. In the winter warmth of soft lighting and fireplace are a nice addition to the consistently good food.

We haven't tried their beer, yet, but the steak and ale pie is amazing. Chips could be crisper. Can't wait to go back!

Friendly landlords, consistently great Sunday lunch (so good we have now been there 3 times in as many months!), good selection of beer and wine...
