O'Neill's, Leicester

Not sure that "All_Hail_The_Ale" was in the right pub.

O'Neill's Leicester sells real ales and doesn't have a pool table.

I've never seen his alleged "chav" element either.

Might want to lay off the ale slightly if you can't get the basic details right.

Curlers Tavern, Glasgow

This pub is a Glasgow institution.

Love the critics who claim it is "commercial". As opposed to pubs that are non commercial then? What do they do, give beer away?

Jesus - this is an ok pub - many good nights here. You have to wonder about recent reviewers. Particularly the "Sarah Day fan club" apparently they have often been served burnt food.

How many times would a pub have to serve you burnt food before you stopped going there to eat? Once would be enough for me! Maybe a jealous competitor bitching?

Still it's not for every one. If your into your real ales and what not it's clearly not for you. Just a matter of taste really.

Personally I'd rather have a good pint of Stella than any of that real ale m'larky!

Great pub with a great manager.

If you fancy a laugh phone the pub on 0207 7800011 and ask for the manager.

Then ask him if hes interested ibn changing his energy supplier.

Don't do it when your Mums in the room though. The language will shock her!

Despite the negative posts below Ive never failed to have a poor night here. The door staff are fine to me.

Maybe people need to choose their attitude?

Not cheap mind you!

"we hate the Irish thing all the time" - thats irony right? In an Irish bar. I mean your having a laugh right?

Still the pubs definately getting back on track, some way to go to the glory days but getting better....
