The Drayton Court, West Ealing

edible food(just),seems to be a post hangover recovery center for most revellers.Annoyingly its the only place with a garden for our daughter to play ,that is in the immediate vicinity of our home.Second annoyance is that most other families who let their kids(and i use the term lightly) play, have no regard for others people and just let their children get on with it.Usually breaking glasses and causing general upset to the pubgoers who are half decent.Avoid like the plague on hot days,or bank holidays as these are the most likely times when whole families turn up all with their football shirts on looking for a fight.

great during daytime hours and surprisingly child friendly too.nice food if a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it.Sadly a bit of a no go area after 10pm ish for white people as old orleans and this place are predominantly for people of indian/pakistani ethnicity. Both times my wife and i have walked through this area after dark we have been insulted and picked on by non white people.

Flynn's, West Ealing

Cheap drink but good quality, nice barstaff, smokier than an english barbeque on a rainy day.

been in once, never again, barmaid got my drinks order wrong i asked for two diet cokes. She gave me two JD and cokes.Doormen asked us for ten quid to get in one night and i have never been back since.completely souless pub full of people who are looking for fights.

The Rose and Crown, Ealing

Great pub before the refurb, with a funny quiz that got everyone laughing every week.since the refurb its lost any charm it had, waiters take your order for drinks so you have to wait for a bill like in a restaraunt, which i think is bad.Food has always been mediocre but is overpriced and the last time i did go to the bar i was looked up and down by some poisonous little toad of a barman with the 'latest' hairdo.

Red Lion, Ealing

BEST pub in ealing,in fact the definition of an old style pub,Excellent food ,Excellent beer, does get a little smokey but its so in the character of the pub it doesn't matter, barstaff are good and can always be heard chatting to the locals and giving good banter.Great little terrace type garden out the back with heaters for the winter.

The North Star, Ealing

the food is pretentious and overpriced turgid pap but the beer is ok if expensive, something about the place won't let me relax enough to enjoy it.

Ha Ha, Ealing

Good food, decent enough drink, barstaff a bit to daydreamy for my liking and serve whoever they fell like at the time ,no matter how long you have been waiting.

The Grove, Ealing

pure arse! full of kids and the food is terrible, the beer tastes like they haven't pulled the cleaning solution through the pipes properly and its a no go area for non smokers.

The Castle Inn, Ealing

great pub to drink in on a sunday evening, good quality quiz which is pretty difficult.Food is a bit crap though and overpriced but the beer is sterling quality whatever you are drinking.
