Lovely pint of Ringwoods 49'er. Lovely Thai food - you may have to book, lovely service, lovely beer garden to the rear. Good friendly atmosphere, just thinking about it makes me want to go back again - soon.

Friendly, decorated thgroughout with an astonishing array of nautically themed memorabilia. Has a well earned excellent reputation for it's seafood restaurant. Even if you're not hungry it's well worth a visit for their excellent cask ales (Adnams Broadside being a personal favourite). It's consisistent as well -I have visited regularly since Aug 05

A good review from me, don't be put off by the thought of all that Belgian beer there are generally 4 cask ales to sample as well. The non-smoking front bar seems more popular than the smoky back room.

I would check to see if this pub has reopened before making a special trip, as it was boarded up last time I went past. Plenty of other watering holes in Leek to check out though.
