love this place, though apparently its been refurbed and ive not been since. But went there a few times last year great beer, staff, food and ambiance! I hear the wonderful jukie has now gone.. i hope not

Always seem to have London Pride or Taylor's Landlord on, so thats cool. Not a bad pub, not really a cool place to hang out or a proper drinking pub. But ok for starting the Horsforth Mile or going for the occasional drink.

Food was fantastic and rather reasonable, the ale selection wasn't too bad and as the cask marque accrediration suggests it was a good pint of ale. More than I'd usually like to pay though, �2.60 for a pint but maybe that is normal for that part of the country. The staff were good too.. In short, go here!

The Railway, Stockport
A fantastic selection of ale, foreign beer, irish whiskeys and all at a price YOU can afford. Brilliant beer... One of the best pubs i've had the pleasure of visiting!
