Great wee pub!! very welcoming, both staff and locals. We were Inverness fans down for a game and loved the place. Toooo much unfortunately, but Landlady looked after me, Cheers dear. Will visit when in Area again for sure, and to apologise for not listening to everyone who told me to stop drinking that cider!!!!

Found myself at Black Lab when helping a mate. Found it to be cold ,uninviting, toilets disgusting(smelly no bog roll, soap, or toilet seat), Some friendly locals, but most loud (why the need to shout at everyone on other side of the room?) Bar staff charging diffrent prices for same 3 drinks. Beer ok nothing special. Needless to say wont be going back.

The Golden Lion, Aldershot
We were Inverness fans on a tour of the south of england for a week. as you can imagine we seen a few pubs in that time. The Golden lion was/is the most welcoming pub we were in. In fact, for those ICT fans there, the Golden Lion is now favorite CaleyAway day. Joe and Kaye were brilliant hosts. The barmaid on Friday was good caic, funny and good with punters. Didn't have any food but seen it being served and looked awesome. Joe IS a Legend.
