The Pride of Spitalfields, Shoreditch
Brilliant little 50's timewarp pub- it's cheap and it's a great alternative to all the trendy media type bars which otherwise populate Brick Lane if you fancy a nice quiet pint pre or post ruby

Ye Olde Black Bear, Tewkesbury
This is the only pub worth going to in Tewkesbury that I know of, and certainly the only one I go to when I go back there. Cosy, amazingly cheap if you've been living elsewhere, can get stupidly busy on weekends though.

The Jug and Jester, Leamington Spa
Chav free which is a bit of a rarity for this end of town. Otherwise a bit dull and expensive for what it is. Massive beer garden out back which is always a good thing.

The Willoughby, Leamington Spa
This is by far the best bar (rather than pub) in town. Mainly unpretentious, no chavs, not too expensive. Recommended if you're out in town.

The Benjamin Satchwell, Leamington Spa
I hate this pub. Can only assume that people go cos it's cheap and it doesn't half show. The food is crap, the service is worse and it's full of chavs. Oh, and memo to JD Wetherspoons- pubs shaped like corridors are a rubbish idea. Avoid unless you can't afford to drink anywhere else (although the park probably has a better atmosphere)

Kelseys is a dive but I love it. Cheap booze, free pool, sky sports, open till 1 these days- what more could a man want from a pub? The owner's a bit of a miserable bastard though...

TJ's Bar and Bistro (Sports Bar Cocktail bar Venue), Leamington Spa
TJ's is a great little bar, one of my favourites in town. Friendly staff, nice decor and ambience, sky sports, open late, chilled out during the week, busy on weekends. Nuff said really. Might be a little over-priced for where it is in town. Oh, and Gursh the owner is a top bloke.

The Voodoo Bar, Leamington Spa
Overpriced for what it is, and a bit up its own arse but one of the better 'trendy bars' (not that there's any other kind in town anymore.
Wicked beer garden and decent food tho, and some lovely ladies

As most other people below say, this is by far the best pub in Cricklewood (which isn't saying an awful lot). Service isn't great but the decor and ambience are pretty decent. There's also a pub quiz on Mondays which isn't ludicrously hard (unlike many other pretentious London pubs)

The Albion, Bethnal Green
Great pub for the footy fan, although I may be biased as an Albion fan. Lovely bar staff, cheap beer, just a shame it's such a pain in the arse to get to!
